KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 — Malaysia stands firmly with the Philippines and has extended humanitarian assistance to ease people’s suffering after Tropical Storm Kristine hit the country, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

MANILA, Nov 2 — Philippine officials sent off the Malaysian government disaster management team at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City today, expressing profound gratitude for the swift response to the country’s cry for help, reported the Philippine News Agency (PNA).

MANILA, Oct 26 — Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia are sending assistance to the Philippines to support recovery efforts following the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Trami, Philippine News Agency reported.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said tropical storm Trami, detected 1,160km northwest of Kudat, Sabah, could cause rain in the peninsular north and east coast, as well as in western Sabah.
